SSC results: 816 schools score 100 per cent in Mumbai

Around 816 schools from 3679 schools scored 100 per cent marks and nearly 1270 students scored 90 to 99 per cent marks in the SSC examination

In comparison to 2017, there has been an increase of 0.67 per cent in pass percentage. In 2016, the pass percentage was 89.56 per cent and in 2015 it was 91.46 per cent. All nine divisions i.e. Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur, and Konkan scored well in this year’s examination. Across the state, 16,36,250 students had appeared for SSC exams, of which 14,56,203 students passed.

This year too, girls outperformed boys. Around 7,42,593 girls appeared of which 6,76,916 students passed the examinations. Meanwhile, 9,07,906 boys had appeared of which 7,81,939 students passed. Overall, 91.46 per cent girls passed the SSC examination while 86.51 per cent boys passed.


Mumbai SSC passing percentage

  • 60 to 70 per cent- 201 students
  • 70 to 80 per cent- 423 students
  • 80 to 90 per cent- 746 students
  • 90 to 99.99 per cent- 1270 students
  • 100 per cent - 816 students

The Maharashtra Board Class 10 exams were conducted between March 1 and March 24, 2018, where a total of 17,51,353 students appeared. Students will get the hard copy of their mark sheets on June 9, 2018.
