In the SSC examination conducted in March-2024, the result of 22 secondary schools of Thane Municipal Corporation is 83.84 percent. Last year it was 70.57 percent. So, this year, the result of three secondary schools of the municipal corporation has been 100 percent. Last year one school got a 100 percent result. Municipal Commissioner Saurabh Rao congratulated all the students and wished them all the best for their future endeavours.
This year, 1523 students appeared for the 10th class examination from Thane Municipal Schools. Out of them 1277 students passed with flying colours. Deputy Commissioner (Education) Sachin Pawar informed that School No. 12, a Marathi medium school in Kausa, School No. 19, an Urdu medium school in Savarkar Nagar, and School No. 16, an English medium school in Savarkar Nagar have got 100 percent results.
At the same time, the results of eight municipal schools have been more than 90 percent. So, the total result of Marathi medium (13 schools) is 73.40 percent. Among them, 13 out of 17 students from night schools in Manpada and Gholainagar have passed. The result of Urdu medium (04 schools) is 91.44 percent, the result of English medium (04 schools) is 96.96 percent and the result of Hindi medium (01 school) is 87.50 percent.
