Maharashtra State Common Entrance Examination Cell has announced revised dates for MHT-CET 2020 examinations. The detailed schedule of the same and information about the hall tickets have been published on the official website of the cell.
As per information, the examinations will now be conducted on the following dates. For the PCB Group, exams will be held from October 1-9, 2020; and for the candidates in the PCM group, examinations will be scheduled from October 12-20, 2020.
A detailed examination schedule with additional information has been published for students' reference on the official website www.mahacet.org. Furthermore, candidates can learn more about the admission procedure in the guidelines mentioned on the authorities.
Recently, a petition was filed in the Supreme Court seeking postponement of the MHT-CET exams, amidst the ongoing coronavirus outbreak and the lockdown. However, the Supreme Court had rejected the petition for the pre-engineering examination conducted by the Maharashtra government.
Though the number of coronavirus cases is increasing in the state, officials have decided to conduct the examinations under strict guidelines. For over the last few months, activities in Maharashtra were cancelled due to the pandemic and the government was not sure about the revised dates for examinations.
