Parel - Ummeed Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the upliftment of disabled. We provide equipment to support lost abilities of various types of people. In alliance with Cipla Foundation a child development and disability centre was set up in 3,000 sq. feet space in the precincts of the Global Hospital, Parel.
The centre was inaugurated at the hands of Dr. Vibha Krishnamurty, Founder (Ummeed Foundation). Kids suffering from various diseases including cerebral palsy, Down's Syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and autism will receive treatment and care at this centre. Children will be taught to become self-reliant and their parents will be taught how to look after a differently abled child.
