Indian production house Panorama Studios and South Korea's Anthology Studios announced the partnership during the Cannes 2023 Film Festival. Producers Kumar Mangat Pathak and Jay Choi were present at the announcement. The biggest outcome of this partnership is the remake of the thriller franchise 'Drishyam' in Korean. This is the second time that 'Drishyam' is being remade in an international language. It was earlier remade in Chinese as 'Sheep Without a Shepherd'.

Talking about the Korean remake of 'Drishyam' and the partnership with Anthology Studio, Kumar Mangat said, “I am excited that the remake of Drishyam is being made in Korea. This will not only increase its reach outside of India, but Hindi films will be noticed all over the world. For so many years, we have been inspired by watching Korean movies. Now they are getting inspiration from Indian films. What could be a greater point of pride for the Indian film industry.”
