The outbreak happened due to short circuit. The fire spread due to the use of a large amount of POP and plastic properties.

A fire broke out on Thursday morning at Vrindavan Studios in Umbergaon which is located on the border of Maharashtra and Gujarat. The fire was reported on the sets of Swastik Production's Porus, Mahakali, and Shanidev. The production house is owned by ace producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary, and the shows are popular on Sony TV and Colors TV

As per the first-hand information, fire engines’ have rushed to the spot and are trying to control the fire. The outbreak happened due to short circuit on the sets, moreover due to the use of a large amount of POP and plastic properties the fire spread wide. 

Further, sources from one of the channels confirm that the fire broke out at one after the pack up today in the morning, on one of the sets of Porus where shoots were not scheduled for a while now. Everything was under control within hours, and shoot has resumed.

However, no further information has been received about the fire on the sets of Mahakali and Shanidev.  The exact cause of the fire is still unknown. No casualties have been reported, but it is said that the studio has suffered a huge loss.
