Dr. Meena Nerurkar is a noted theater actor who is now foraying into cinema, Meena Nerukar has taken Lavani - Marathi folk dance to new heights, popularizing it abroad. She is coming up with her new film 'A Dot Com Mom' which is been directed by herself. This is the first film which is been shot at America. This film revolves around a mother who is very innocent & simple. But when she goes to America, what all things she faces and how she manages is the story of this film. Meena Nerurkar is portraying mothers role while Sai Gundewar is playing her son's role. This film will be releasing on 30th September.
For the past 40 years, she has been acting, directing, choreographing in Marathi industry. She has acted in many famous plays viz. 'Varyavarchi Varat', 'Sakkhe Shejari', 'Vichha Majh Puri Kara'.
