The Ghazi Attack and Irada got released on the same day and is been directed by debut director. They speak on somewhat same issues. The Ghazi Attack is a film on the war at sea while Irada movie is an eco-thriller which speaks about soil pollution and its adverse effects.
Irada movie fails on its execution. Nasruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi have acted well but could not handle the poor script and direction. It fails to capture the audience.

This move revolves around a depressed father (Naseeruddin Shah) whose daughter dies due to cancer (Rumana Molla). Upon investigation he realises, that soil pollution is the reason which is claiming many lives in Punjab. A pharmaceutical company which is run by (Sharad Kelkar) has a nexus with Punjab CM (Divya Dutta) in carrying out soil pollution. Naseeruddin then decides to fight back with the help of an officer (Arshad Warsi).

Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi have acted really well but were not able to pull up the movie. There are 1-2 songs in the film which are not related to the film. All in all, the movie is good but has failed due to poor scripting and execution.
