Sunil Grover has fallen out with Kapil Sharma. Yet again.
On a recent flight from Australia when the two happened to be travelling together, the two stand up comics again rubbed each other the wrong way. Apparently, Kapil misbehaved with Sunil on the flight and even got physically aggressive with Grover, onlookers said. Kapil even insulted Chandan Prabhakar, (who plays Chandu chaiwala) on the flight. After this incident, Grover has decided to part ways with Kapil, it is believed. Kapil has also apparently realised his folly. On Facebook, he wrote, “I meet my brother once in a year.. n spending almost everyday with my team.. specially Sunil .. I love him.. I respect him.. yes I had a argue with him but r we not normal people..?I shouted at him first time in 5 years .. itna to chalta hai bhai. We will sit n talk that where is the problem.. I love him as a artist as a human being,”
Yesterday, he took to Twitter saying
Sunil Grover's response to Sharma's sugared apology has been a measured yet politically correct one. Asking Sharma not to act 'God' even as he praised his talent, Grover has been quick to point out that Sharma should start respecting people, 'even if they are not as talented as you are'.
When Kapil started his show on Colors, he had teamed up with Ali Asgar as dadi and Sunil Grover, who was a big hit as his character Guthi. Even then, there were rumours of clashes between Kapil and Sunil. Later, Sunil walked out of the show to pursue his own dreams, only to return to the show later. After Kapil's show moved to Sony, Sunil donned a new avatar as Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinkoo bhabhi which too became instantly popular. This time too there were rumours about skirmishes between Kapil and Sunil.
Will Sunil now take a firm stand on Kapil's behaviour? Can we imagine weekend evenings without Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinkoo bhabhi ?
