Popular commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu has found himself in a turmoil of controversy. He has been asked to leave the ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ following his comments on the Pulwama attack. The channel Sony Entertainment Television and the production house together have taken this decision on an immediate effect.
A source shared with Mumbai live that Sidhu will be replaced by Archana Puran Singh on the show. The channel, as well as the production house, did not want to get dragged in the controversy. The makers have already shot an episode with Archana.
Post the Pulwama terror attack, while talking to media Navjot Singh Sidhu had commented, “Nations cannot be held responsible for the outrageous acts of terrorists. The terrorists do not have any mazhab. There are good, the bad and the ugly. Every institution has it. Every nation has them. The ugly need to be punished.”
