Azad Maidan - Around 65 Film City security personnel, fearing termination from their jobs by 1 November, staged a protest at Azad Maidan. These persons work in Film City, Goregaon and say they fear being replaced by candidates selected via the state security corporation's rules devised in 2010. These security persons protested in Azad Maidan. The protesters demanded government pay scales and creation of a cadre of security guards in the film corporation.
