The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) administration has started testing various measures to reduce pollution in Mumbai. In order to prevent dust from entering the city due to vehicles coming from outside, an innovative experiment is going to be done to wash the wheels of the vehicles. The BMC commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal said on Thursday that 'water jet spray machines' will be installed at all entrances for this purpose.

The High Court has reprimanded the civic body over the pollution in Mumbai. Therefore, the administration has started working and options are being tested to reduce the pollution. A large amount of dust is generated in Mumbai by the wheels of vehicles coming from other cities. So now these wheels will be washed by water before entering the city. There will be no need to stop trains for that. Chahal explained that water will be sprayed only on the wheels of the moving vehicles.

On the other hand, he said that 650 km of roads will be washed every day to reduce dust. He also informed that security guards have been deployed to prevent incidents of burning garbage at the waste ground. Experiment of Artificial Rain: To settle the dust in the air, artificial rain can also be experimented in Mumbai. Chahal explained that there will be 'cloud seeding' in Delhi and if it is successful, artificial rain will also be tested in Mumbai.

Chahal explained that if it succeeds, artificial rain will also be tested in Mumbai. In the past, the municipal corporation has experimented with artificial rain in the dam area many times. But all these experiments failed. The municipal corporation also had to bear the criticism of wastage of money. While this is the case, there is a possibility that artificial rain will be carried out in the city.
