According to the latest reports, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has continued to enforce the present green alert for Mumbai on Monday, July 25, owing to the absence of any significant weather systems over the city.

The IMD predicts that on Saturday, Mumbai will witness usually cloudy skies with light to moderate rain in the city and suburbs. Further, there is a chance of occasional intense spells at isolated locations.

Based on accounts, the rainfall over the city in the past 24 hours remained under 16.5 mm. The Santacruz observatory registered 7.3 mm, while the Colaba observatory recorded 16.4 mm. The IMD predicts that the city could experience very heavy showers when the rainfall breaches the 100 mm mark.

Likewise, narratives suggest that the water stock in the seven water-supplying lakes to Mumbai in the last 24 hours has reached 12,89,435 million litres. Same time last year, the water levels will be at 9,36,933 million litres.

On the other hand, a high tide of 3.77 metres could transpire on Monday at 10.26 am in the city. Further, a low tide of 2.23 metres is anticipated at 4.28 pm.
