Bandra - A man is a patriot if his heart beats true to his country.
This was evident on the eve of Republic Day when a huge group of students was seen doing march-past on a ground in Bandra. They were participating in the 4th BIRD (BrihanMumbai Interschool Republic Day) Parade that was held in Bandra. Such was the vigour and vitality of these students that they received appreciation from Vice-Admiral Ravneet Singh, Chief of Staff, Western Naval Command.
Commander Ratan Singh not only enjoyed the march-past session but even showed the students the weapons to our army men use. The whole atmosphere at this ground was charged with 'Jai Hind', 'Jai Bharat' slogans. Over 23 schools and over 1300 students participated in this enthralling event.
