Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust has advised devotees to follow a dress while entering the premises of the Sai Baba Temple. The trust has appealed all the devotees to wear Indian attire in the temple. This has been done after the trust received several complaints from the devotees.

According to the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, devotees would be barred from having Baba’s darshan if they enter the Temple wearing shorts, mini skirts, sleeveless Tops, Bermudas shorts, jeans and other Western outfits. In fact, exposure of the body would be prohibited.

Apart from that, the temple’s trust has also put up awareness posters to inform all the visitors to wear appropriate clothing.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Sai Baba temple like other temples had to be shut and opened its gates after seven months on November 17. This was after the Maharashtra government gave the nod to re-open of religious places.

According to the guidelines by the temple’s trust, the devotees who want to visit will have to do online booking to get a time-slot for the ‘darshan’. Along with this, people will also have to show a COVID-19 negative RT-PCR result at the gate. Children aged eight to ten won’t be allowed.

However, it has been pointed that even with all these checks, there have been instances when the social distancing measures taken by Sai Baba Sansthan have failed. Due to technical glitches in online darshan from time to time, it was witnessed that a large number of people gathered at the temple overcrowding the place to offer darshan.
