Romano’s, the speciality Italian restaurant at the JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar celebrates the cuisine of New Zealand, a country known for its rich produce, meats and wines. The menu titled “Nuances of New Zealand” will be served from October 22nd to 31st, featuring delectable dishes from New Zealand, created by Chef Roberto Zorzoli.



The 'Nuances of New Zealand' menu is a treat for meat lovers, seafood fans and wine aficionados. Chef Zorzoli’s culinary specials include dishes like Cozze “Alla vastese” (Abruzzese style baked mussels, aromatic herb crust, reggiano cheese), Costoletta alla olive (Skillet lamb chops with a kalamata olives, cherry tomato, white wine sauce), Merluzzo arrosto (Roasted Blue Cod steak, minted asparagus risotto), Brasato di agnello (Braised lamb rump, toasted hazelnuts, saffron sauce, porcini dust) and Ravioli di stufato (Homemade ravioli, Italian slow cooked lamb ragu, red wine pan gravy) amongst other classics.


These dishes paired with the best wines from New Zealand, make a memorable meal while the chic ambience and immaculate service at Romano’s ensures a sublime evening. The cuisine of New Zealand is largely driven by produce from land and sea, with influences from Great Britain, the Pacific Rim and the Mediterranean region.
