With an intention to win every game along with the ISL 2018-19 Champions title, Mumbai City FC head coach Jorge Costa intends to play good football and win those 3 points. The Islanders are training harder to emerge as a worthy contenders for the Hero Indian Super League title.
Recently, the team played a friendly match against Chiangmai FC (CMFC) as a part of their pre-season football training camp in Thailand. The game ended in a 2-2 draw as the Lanna Tigers scored a 90th minute equaliser. While the first half finished goalless, the second half provided four!

After the friendly against the CMFC, now the Islanders are planning to play at least three more matches as a part of their pre-season camp. Later, the Islanders will have their maiden match against Jamshedpur FC at their home ground for the first time in five seasons. Indian Super League will commence on September 29 with the maiden match between ATK and Kerala Blasters FC.
