Football is all about pulsating moments and India vs Colombia was full of those. Colombia came out 2-1 winners against India putting India rock bottom of Group A with just one game to go in the group stage.

Jeakson Singh made history when he scored India’s first ever goal in a FIFA tournament. The game sitting at 1-1 and the stadium buzzing with excitement at the back of Jeakson’s goal, Colombia crushed millions of Indian hearts with a goal within a minute.

Juan Penaloza scored the winner as the Indian defence was the most vulnerable after the historic goal.

Juan Penaloza opened the scoring for Colombia when his brilliant strike went into the net in the 49th minute before which India had hit the post as Rahul’s volley couldn’t find the back of the net.

India kept pressing in the second half and Jeakson score a wonderful header in the 82nd minute but in no time, Penaloza scored his second and won Colombia the match.

It was truly heartbreaking for the host country but the boys really put in a effort. India next play Ghana.
