Indian Super League (ISL) franchise Mumbai City FC on Thursday announced the signing of Pratik Chaudhari for the upcoming ISL 2019-20 season. Chaudhari has been welcomed by the Islanders as he has been brought on board on a one-year contract.
The Mumbai-born player had previously represented Kerala Blasters FC in 2016, which was also his debut in the league. Last year, Chaudhari had also played nine matches for Jamshedpur FC last year.

Currently playing as a centre-back, Chaudhari's football journey began from his student days at St. Sebastian, Chembur in Mumbai. He used to work at a call-center in the night shift while playing for Bank of India and Union Bank of India. After which, his persistent efforts fruited as he joined Air India, representing the team in the 2011 I-League against Prayag United.

Later, after a stint with Rangdajied United FC, he was signed up by Mohun Bagan in August 2014. He also made 13 appearances for Mumbai FC in the I-League 2015-16.
