Mumbai City FC didn't have the most successful campaign in ISL this year as they finished the 2017-18 Hero Indian Super League (ISL) season in seventh place.

But they're looking to rebuild and have started planning for the next season already.

According to reports in Goal, The Islanders are close to securing deals for Bengaluru FC defender Subashish Bose and two others for the 2018-19 season.

Along with a potential deal for Subashish Bose, MCFC have signed Jamshedpur full-back Souvik Ghosh and Mohun Bagan's Raynier Fernandes.

Bose missed out on Bengaluru FC's 2-3 ISL final defeat against Chennaiyin FC due to a suspension.

He was a first-team regular under Albert Roca and played 18 games for BFC in their first season in ISL.

The 22-year-old full-back had an impressive season for the ISL runners-up and will be a very good addition to Guimaraes' side, provided the deal goes through.
