Mumbai Port Trust defeats ESIC in MDFA league match

Mumbai Port Trust defeated Employee State Insurance Corporation 2-1 in the final match of the Mumbai District Football Association League match in the first Division on Saturday. The match was played at Xavier's ground in Perl.

In the match, Pirel Shokwangnao made the first goal in the 7th minute to give the lead to the Port Trust team. But in the 30th minute, ESIC's Andre Fernánda netted for his team. After that Ubaid Ansari of Mumbai Port Trust scored a goal in the 38th minute to help his team win.

Earlier, in the C -view match of St. Paul, St. Paul won the match against Sea View Association by 6-5. Arnold Saldanha scored 2 goals, Chetan Jagannade, Shane Menezes, Swanil Mhatre and Nezon Rodriguez scored one goal each.
