KSA Ambitious FA fought hard to manage a narrow 1-0 win against 7B Star SC in a keenly contested in a Third Division match of the Rustomjee-MDFA League 2019-2020 and played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Wednesday.
Striker Shahid Qureshi struck the decisive winner for KSA Ambitious in the 18th minute of the first half.
In another match of the same division, Charles Fernandes scored a brace of goals in leading Golar Indian FA to a fluent 2-0 win against Football Leaders Academy. After a barren first session, Charles scored the opening goal in the 37th minute and 10 minutes later struck the second to double the lead.
Third Div: FC Cosmos 1 (Adit Surve) drew with Black Panthers SC 1 (Ferdinand Irudayam).
