Kandivali - Government hospitals work in a very peaceful manner. The staff is in no hurry nor are they perturbed by patients' condition. An incident took place in Shatabdi hospital, Kandivali wherein an assault victim Mala Jha was accompanied with Lady constable SP Jadhav for the medical tests at 8 pm.
It took half an hour for the medical test, reports came. What worried the police and victim was that there was no surgeon present to sign on the report.
Three hours passed and there was no sign of surgeon in the hospital. After calling Dean for several times, a surgeon came in and signed on the paper at 11.30 pm.
