On Thursday, December 17, Prafull Vijayakar, the famous homoeopath who had discovered and practised a predictive form of homoeopathy, passed away in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Predictive Homeopathy attempts to understand the basic constitution of the patient and uses the same as the basis of prescribing medicine. It is also the only school of homoeopathy recognized by ECPD, United Nations. Fondly known as the Einstein of homoeopathy, Vijayakar was not only a popular homoeopath, he even made a significant contribution in the field of medicine. Born on August 4, 1952, Vijayakar has been survived by his son Dr Ambrish Vijayakar who is also a predictive homoeopathy practitioner and a teacher on a global level.

Apart from being a doctor, Prafull Vijayakar also educated many people about homoeopathy. He also wrote several books. Dr Vijayakar also happens to be the first homoeopathic physician in the world to have gone in-depth of embryology, tapping into the significance of Hering’s Law. This interpretation is put in the form of his Chart of Suppression. Moreover, he happens to be the first homoeopath to show his failures in seminars and point out how homoeopathy can also cause very bad suppressions when practised in the wrong way.

In the last 10 years, when many homoeopaths were disillusioned with the existing scenario of homoeopathy, Dr Vijayakar stood up to challenge allopaths and showed results in all types of cases.
