Dr Rahul Ghule, director of the one-rupee clinic, took to Twitter to inform that if any person suffering from the coronavirus is in urgent need of treatment, however, has insufficient funds, residing in the Kalyan-Dombivali area, they can visit the One-Rupee Clinic nestled in Dombivali East.

Ghule also formed that the clinic has 100 beds available with facilities like oxygen support which can be availed free of cost.
Over the past few months, volunteers of the one-rupee clinic have screened thousands of people across housing societies in Mumbai at their homes to find symptomatic patients suffering from COVID-19. The one-rupee clinic volunteers had also conducted free screenings earlier in areas like Thane, Kalyan and Dombivli with mobile clinics. The screening was undertaken by a team of a doctor and other medical staff. Any person found with the symptoms for the coronavirus was further advised to go to a nearby municipal hospital in order to take a medical test.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra on Thursday, August 6, reported 11,514 new cases of the coronavirus which propelled the tally to 4,79,779 cases in the state.
At the moment, there are 9,76,332 people under home quarantine and 37,768 people in institutional quarantine. Furthermore, out of 24,87,990 laboratory samples, 4,79,779 have been tested positive (19.28 per cent) for the coronavirus until August 6.
However, in Mumbai, 910 people were diagnosed with the coronavirus on Thursday, taking the aggregate to 1,20,150.
