On Monday, 10 new patients of 'H3N2' were reported in the state. Therefore, the number of patients of 'H3N2' has increased to 375. Also, on Monday, 15 patients were admitted to various hospitals for treatment, bringing the number of patients under treatment to 113.


The number of 'H3N2' and 'H1N1' patients is increasing day by day in the state. Since January 01, 3,70,546 suspected cases of influenza have been found in the state and they have been given Oseltamivir. In this, 469 patients of 'H1N1' and 375 of 'H3N2' have been detected. Currently, 113 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals of the state, the information has been given by the health department.


Keeping in view the increasing number of influenza patients, isolation rooms have been set up in all medical colleges and hospitals in the state. Necessary medicines and equipment have been stocked there and instructions have been given to all District Health Officers, District Surgeons and Medical Health Officers in the state.
