Except for Mumbai and Konkan, the day and night temperatures vary around 15 degrees Celsius across the state. Due to this, citizens are experiencing a soothing dew in the morning and body aches in the afternoon and health complaints have increased. From October 6, the monsoon started depleting. After that, now the city and suburbs are starting to feel the effects of October heat.

For the next three to four days, the maximum temperature is likely to be 35 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to be 25 degrees Celsius. As the mercury in Mumbai city and suburbs has crossed 32 degrees, citizens are suffering from the scorching heat. It is estimated that Mumbai city and suburbs will have to bear the scorching heat for the next few days. After that, there will be some decrease in temperature. The maximum temperature in Mumbai is likely to reach 35 degrees Celsius by October 12.
