The redevelopment work for the chawls in Naigaon, N.M. Joshi Marg and Worli has to start quite soon due to which the Bhumi Pujan Ceremony for Naigaon and N.M. Joshi Marg has to carried out, but turns out the residents of MHADA are still against it. As per the demands of the residents of BDD and to calm their anger down, MHADA and the government has hinted to start the Bhumi Pujan ceremony quite soon.

After finalizing the contract for Naigaon and N.M. Joshi Marg, a tender has been demanded for the area of Worli as well so that the Bhumi Pujan can be done quite soon. Meanwhile, the community of the BDD residents have withdrawn their opposition, however the residents of Worli are still revolting against MHADA. According to them, for conducting any redevelopment of any sort, the consent of the residents is mandatory. Hence, these residents have filed a plea in the high court.

It was on Wednesday night that the BDD residents in Worli had arranged a meeting. In this meeting the residents informed Kiran Mane, the president of Akhil BDD Bhadekaru Sangh about the Bhumi Pujan for the redevelopment project of Naigaon and N.M. Joshi Marg.
