MHADA’s Konkan Board lottery released a lottery for 9018 houses on August 25, 2018, and many Mumbaikars’ dreams of owning a house in Mumbai were fulfilled. But, those who did not win this lottery are now waiting for an upcoming MHADA lottery which was not being finalised since May.

While releasing MHADA’s Konkan Board’s lottery, it was announced that the most awaited lottery for 1000 houses, that was being postponed, now will be finally released in Diwali i.e. in November, informed MHADA CEO Milind Mhaiskar.

Every year, MHADA releases lottery for houses in the month of May. However, last year and this year too, MHADA missed the deadline as the board did not have sufficient houses to sell. When MHADA’s Konkan Board declared the lottery, many didn't turn up as the price range of houses were high and these houses were not situated in Mumbai.
