The Computerized draw was successfully conducted by CIDCO on June 22, 2023 for allotment of alternative 46 plots to project affected persons in Navi Mumbai International Airport project area. During this draw, a total of 46 plots, 23 plots under rehabilitation and resettlement scheme and 23 under 22.5% scheme were allotted to the PAPs. The computerized draw was conducted at CIDCO Bhavan, CIDCO’s headquarter.

On this occasion  Rajesh Patil, JMD, Shantanu Goel, JMD, Suresh Mengde, CVO, Rajendra Dhayatkar, Chief Engineer (NMIA), Geeta Pillai, CGM (Transport and Airport), Navnath Jare, CLSO (NMIA), Smita Shirodkar, Senior Planner (Airport Resettlement & Rehabilitation) &  Umesh Pote, ACLSO were present.

CIDCO is developing the Navi Mumbai International Airport on 1160 hectares by acquiring the land from 10 villages located in Taluka Panvel, Dist. Raigad of Navi Mumbai. The project-affected persons of these villages have been offered the best rehabilitation package in the country and other benefits by CIDCO under the 22.5% scheme approved by the state government. Also, Pushpak Nagar Node of Rehabilitation and Resettlement Area (R&R) is well-equipped with all physical, social and cultural facilities has been developed for the airport PAPs by CIDCO. 


However, some of these allotted plots were cancelled due to technical reasons. These concerned PAPs were allotted alternate 46 plots during the computerized draw conducted on June 22, 2023. Out of total 46 plots, 23 plots were allotted under rehabilitation and resettlement scheme and 23 plots were allotted under 22.5% scheme.
