Summer styles to beat the heat

SHARES

Yes, we are all getting scalded by the scorching sun . But we still have to step out for work or other commitments. We met some known faces from fashion and glamour world who always manage to turn heads wherever they go and checked their summer style quotient.

Rochelle Rao-Actor

Cool and comfortable, that's Rochelle's style mantra. Summer is the time to wear cotton and cotton blended denims, skater dresses, shirt dresses and jumpers with white sneakers to prance around. As for make up, Rochelle restricts it to bb cream with gloss for that fresh scrubbed look.

Aashma- Ceo, Myfashion.com
As a lady who is forever on her toes, Aashma keeps her cool quotient high with flowing palazzos, jumpers, skirts in nudes, yellows and floral tones. For make up, she prefers glittery lip gloss in fruity shades of peach and strawberry.

Jhelum- Designer

Peaches , pink shades in linen and soft cotton - that's what fashion designer Jhelum advocates for summer. Mostly, palazzos and skirts and long gowns can be worn for semi casual and formal occasions too, she says.

Sonal Sehgal- Actor

This chirpy lass loves colours galore . Neon blues, yellows and greens add sunshine to her day . Usually she prefers shift dresses and jumpers teamed up with sneakers and for formal meetings, crop tops with high waisted palazzos. For make up, Sehgal believes in 'less is more'.

Evelyn Sharma- Actor

Her peaches and cream complexion and tall frame make Evelyn carry off even rags with aplomb, but personally, her style is easy and comfortable . Palazzos and dresses top her list . And cotton is her favourite fabric .As far as make up is concerned, Evelyn empasises on the use of make up as the base carries SPF which acts as sunscreen . But of course, Sharma advises not to overdo it

The summer mantra is simple, clear and unanimous. Dump the tight clothes, synthetic fabrics and tons of makeup. Just go with natural fabrics in flowy styles to step out in style .
