The rally was conducted from BKC to Ballard Pier and consisted of 10 vintage Rolls Royce automobiles among other notable cars and two-wheelers. As per data provided by the Western India Automobile Association (WIAA), the rally had a total of 130 vintage cars and 65 two-wheelers.

Executive Chairman of WIAA, Nitin Dossa said, “This was the biggest event in Maharashtra in the automobile sector since (the Covid-19 pandemic). It was carried out following safety protocols and maintaining distance. There were smiles on many faces.”

Though there were several vintage cars like the 1948 Lincoln v12, a 1912 Wolseley, as well as Pope Paul’s famous Lincoln, the presence of Indian cars from the past few decades like the Maruti Suzuki 800 SS 80, the 1989 Fiat Premier Padmini, and the 1984 Ambassador managed to catch the limelight.

It’s also worth noting that that 18-year old Rya Jetha was the youngest driver participating in the rally at 18 years of age. Jetha reportedly received his driver’s license a week prior to the rally.
