We The Women is a two-day, participatory, open-to-all forum for women offering a ‘Break Free’ 48 hours to bring together diverse viewpoints, challenges, concerns and a celebration of everything that women have achieved. It’s annual space giving women a platform to voice their unfettered expressions, forging bonds, great conversation and a wide community of friends.

The festival is at the easily- accessible Mehboob Studio in the heart of Bandra on December 9 and 10 with a casual and inquisitive spirit. 

Under the curatorship of Padmashri award-winning journalist Burkha Dutt and an array of inspiring personalities from several fields of interest like Faye D’Souza, Aranya Johar, Insia Dariwala, Tisca Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Twinkle Khanna, Karan Johar, Sakshi Malik, Salma Sultan, Smriti Irani etc the fest is expected to flourish and come out with bright colors.

Issues like sexism, sexual harassment, and equality will be addressed to by special talks and screenings by these personalities, bringing in light the current situation of women in India.

The fest will host a flea market along with special food stalls showcased by female chefs. There will be Open-Mic hours in the evenings and also some special music gigs.There will also be an award giving ceremony called as the H.E.R. to confer honourable titles to men and women who have shown remarkable excellence in their areas, taking all risks, battling the odds and coming all their way to success.
