अर्थसंकल्प सादर करताना केंद्रीय अर्थमंत्र्यांनी जानेवारी २०२२ मध्ये जीएसटीची वसूली सर्वोच्च झाली असल्याबद्दल आनंद व्यक्त केला. याचा फायदा राज्यांना देण्याबाबत अर्थसंकल्पात कोणतीही घोषणा नाही. वस्तू व सेवाकराची वसूली वाढल्यामुळे राज्यांचा केंद्रीय करातील हिस्सा वाढवणं आवश्यक आहे.

अशा परिस्थितीत केंद्रीय अर्थसंकल्पातून ठोस उत्तरे मिळतील अशी अपेक्षा होती. परंतु लोकमनातील अस्वस्थता केंद्र सरकारपर्यंत पोहोचलेली दिसत नाही. त्यामुळे हा अर्थसंकल्प नोकरदारांसह सर्वसामान्यांच्या अपेक्षांचा भंग करतो अशी प्रतिक्रिया मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांनी दिली आहे.
