In the year 2019, many international artists have performed in Mumbai and it looks like the year is going to end on a high note with Irish rock band U2 all set to have their first-ever concert in India this weekend. What's even more interesting is that the ticketing partner, BookMyShow has collaborated with the Indian Railways to launch a special chartered suburban train service in Mumbai on December 15 to ferry people to Navi Mumbai.

The special train service will ply from Andheri station to Nerul station. It will have limited stops and will stop at Mahim and Kurla station to connect Western, Central and Harbour routes. The train will run on this route only twice, once to ferry the viewers to the show and then back on the same route. The train ticket for this train service too can be bought on Book My Show.

The band is set to bring to Mumbai their acclaimed "U2: The Joshua Tree Tour" tour, celebrating their iconic 1987 album by the same name. The concert, to be held at Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium and the band is expected to sing some of their popular songs such as  "With or without you", "I still haven't found what I'm looking for" and "Beautiful day".

A chopper and dedicated bus service to have been organised for the concert as well. There are pick-up and drop bus services from multiple areas in and around the city, directly to the venue.

A.R. Rahman will be opening for U2 when the Irish rock band performs in Mumbai. Rahman's performance will also feature his two daughters. So what will be your preferred mode of commute for this concert?
