Music composer Neil Nayak releases his independent debut single 'Ek Khayal'

Well known music producer Neil Nayak has recently released his independent debut single titled "Ek Khayal" featuring Varin Jain on vocals. This is Neil's first solo project besides his contribution in Bollywood films and other featured gigs. The song is available for streaming at all major music digital stores, worldwide.

A mainstream Bollywood music composer, Neil has worked with top filmmakers such as Anurag Kashyap, Dhanraj Productions and the Yashraj Films Banner in the past. He is responsible for creating the in-house song for the top tier IPL Team – 'Royal Challengers Bangalore'. He has worked with acclaimed North American record label - Mojear Records to create a track for them, not only that his tracks have been regularly featured on their albums.

He is also a regular when it comes to composing background scores for celebrated regional plays and theatre. Since his passion lies in percussion, Neil has not only been responsible for the music arrangements of all his projects but also provided percussion for them himself. As a Music Producer, Neil has worked on an online radio show–“Together” which was hosted and curated by none other than celebrated VJ/RJ and DJ Nikhil Chinappa. Neil also produces his own songs and collaborates with artists of various genres to create a confluence of harmony. Neil has also opened the Finale Act of the Corona SunSet Music Festival, which is an electronic music festival that takes place during sunsets across the world at various locations. Artists such as Pillow Talk, Shall Ocin, John Monkmanhave played alongside Neil at this festival. Intrigued by the power that music can have on people, He decided to expand his horizons and invested himself in electronic music. Bringing future sounds and ethnic fusions with a unique live act is his USP. He uses a confluence of percussion with a deep, dark and experimental sound.

Neil is not only passionate about music, he is equally passionate about the environment. Maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of his surrounding matters a lot to him and to take this initiative forward he composed, produced and released a song on YouTube –ThukuNaka with an aim of making people realize how they inadvertently dirty their own surroundings. This song garnered immense attention and support and was much appreciated.
