The Shiv Sena has reportedly come down heavily on the BJP on Wednesday, June 22 as the state faces the repercussions of the political crisis. Many Sena MLAs along with senior party leader Eknath Shinde have been camping outside the state. First, they were in Surat and have now shifted to Guwahati, reports stated.

According to accounts, in its mouthpiece, Saamana, the party voiced that the developments are a ploy by the BJP to topple the coalition government that entails, Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP led by Uddhav Thackeray. The party in its mouthpiece asserted that such attempts will fail.

Based on narratives, the Sena termed Shinde as a "traitor" and uttered, "The traitor MLA ran away, being scared of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and CBI."

The party alleged that the Centre, ruled by the BJP is utilizing central agencies to defame MVA leaders by charging them with false cases. It added, however, that the BJP has not been successful in over two years.

In the midst of these developments, Shinde has claimed that he has the support of more than 40 MLAs, but has denied speculations to change parties.

On the other hand, on early, Wednesday, June 22, morning, Shinde and his MLAs from Surat moved to Guwahati. Accounts are rife with speculations that Shinde has demanded that Sena restore its alliance with the BJP.
