Ajit Pawar has claimed the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Ajit Pawar has directly challenged Sharad Pawar saying that NCP is ours, the party and the symbol is with us. But at the same time, Ajit Pawar also questioned whether Sharad Pawar has forgotten that he is the National President. Now Ajit Pawar has also taken the new office of the party.


A/5 bungalow in front of Mantralaya will now be Ajit Pawar's new office. Ajit Pawar's NCP office (New Party Office) will be inaugurated in Mumbai on Tuesday. This office will be inaugurated at one o'clock in the afternoon in the presence of Ajit Pawar and Praful Patel.


When Ajit Pawar once again became Maharashtra’s Deputy CM

Ajit Pawar who was with NCP for many decades has defected the party to join Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis took  an oath as Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister on July 2 at Raj Bhavan.

Eknath Shinde welcomed Ajit Pawar as Deputy CM

While speaking to the media, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde expressed happiness over the oath ceremony. He said he has welcomed Ajit Pawar as deputy CM and other MLAs. Hinting towards Ajit Pawar, he said that when a leader is ill treated, he takes action. Now, with the addition of NCP, this will be a triple engine and the development will be in full force and will run like a bullet train, said Shinde.

It is considered as one of the shocking moments in Maharashtra politics after Eknath Shinde's rebellion where the former and Devendra Fadnavis took oath as Maharashtra's CM and Deputy CM, respectively. The Shinde's rebellion forced then Maha CM Uddhav Thackeray to step down.
