Bookie Anil Jaisinghani and his daughter Aniksha were arrested for allegedly demanding extortion from Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis' wife Amruta Fadnavis. Anil Jaisinghani and Aniksha Jaisinghani had threatened to send the audiotape prepared for extortion to Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with NCP chief Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray. The chargesheet filed by the Malabar Hill Police in this case also includes threatening messages sent by Aniksha to Amruta Fadnavis.


The Malabar Hill Police had filed a 733-page charge sheet in the court in May in this case. In this charge sheet of 733 pages, the testimony of 13 witnesses has been recorded. There have been many serious revelations about this matter. Amruta Fadnavis had stopped answering her phone calls due to Aniksha's threats. Her mobile number was also blocked. In this regard, in a message sent by Aniksha on February 21, her father Anil Jaisinghani is angry because her mobile number has been blocked. They have directly threatened to harm you and your family.

Aniksha claims to be a fashion designer and asks for help to get her father out of a criminal case. In return, the bookies offered money from betting, as well as INR 1 cr to help. He also sent a fake audio tape and demanded a ransom of INR 10 crores based on it. It is clear from the messages sent by Aniksha that she threatened to give the related sound tapes and sound tapes to Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray and also to Modiji.


Amruta Fadnavis filed a complaint at the Malabar Hill police station on February 20. In that complaint, it was said that Aniksha and her father Anil Jaisinghania tried to trap her by paying bribes. So, between 11.55 pm and 12.15 midnight on February 18, she sent 22 video tapes, three voice notes and several messages on WhatsApp from an unknown number. Similar tapes, voice notes and messages were received by employees. Then on February 19 at 10:00 pm, around 40 messages, audio tapes, voice notes and some screenshots were sent to Fadwanis from the same number. Based on that, Amruta complained to the Malabar Hill Police that Aniksha was threatening. A case was registered against Aniksha and her father Anil Jaisinghani through it.
