Mumbai - The blame game is catching pace with every passing day. With less than a week to go, Shiv Sena MLA Anil Parab accused CM Devendra Fadnavis of indulging in corruption. Parab quoted a report of the Nandalal Committee on Irregularities in Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
The report was presented in 2001 when Fadnavis was the Mayor of Nagpur.
Parab alleged saying that Fadnavis had granted permission to "Gandi Baug", a garden for running and maintenance to an organisation called "Lotus Cultural and sporting Association", of which he himself was a member. The permission was granted without any tendering process.
How come CM Fadnavis talks about transparency in BMC when he himself is tainted with corruption while running the Nagpur Municipal Corporation", Parab quipped.
Meanwhile, in the counter attack, BJP Spokesperson Madhav Bhandari mocked the relationship of Shiv Sena and Congress terming it as Valentine Deal.
Time will tell who is in alliance with whom and who we will win the coveted title of the civic election.
