On the occasion of Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) manifesto release – Sankalp Patra, Union Minister Sushma Swaraj on Monday said that unlike other parties, BJP is not here to make announcements but to pledge to fulfil the goals listed in its manifesto.

In the 48-page Sankalp Patra, the BJP has “pledged” to complete 75 goals till the year 2022. The party manifesto has been carried out with the help of a committee headed by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh. 

The manifesto was released in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah along with other senior BJP leaders including Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj, and Arun Jaitley.

BJP has “pledged” to fulfil goals listed below: 

  • No interest rate for agricultural loans up to ₹1 lakh for five years
  • Strict Measures to prevent infiltration on border
  • Zero Tolerance Policy against Terrorism
  • Every farmer to get ₹6,000 per year
  • Every farmer to get benefit from Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
  • Pension scheme for every farmer
  • National Trade Commission will be set up
  • Pension to small businessmen
  • Toilets, Electricity in every household
  • Stringent law against Triple divorce
  • The Citizenship Bill will be implemented
  • Uniform Civil Code will be implemented
