Nariman Point - Samajwadi Party President of Mumbai, Abu Azmi asked government to ban alcohol on 6 December on the eve of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's anniversary. Alcohol is banned in Islam. Dalits, farmers and tensed people tend to drink alcohol to forget about their problems. Alcohol must be banned in order to save these harrowed souls.
