Mumbai- BJP’s tall claims that it is the party with difference and transparency is at stake because party workers have alleged favouritism in the party.
The party hopping Patel couple, Murji and Kesarben Patel, which moved from Shiv Sena to Congress have now joined the BJP. They have also managed to secure tickets for both from ward 76 nad 81 respectively. Many loyal BJP workers are angry at this move.
Aspiring candidate Jagat Gautam has expressed his disappointment.
BJP has been wholeheartedly accepting rebels from other parties in a bid to manage the number game, but such moves may backfire as loyal party workers may just alter the voting patterns. Ashish Shelar will have to get his math right.
