After Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut praised Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray for securing its place in the ministry, BJP MP Narayan Rane taunted him by saying that Maharashtra wants a capable Chief Minister, not a driver.

On the occasion of Maha Aghadi Vikas’s (MVA) one year anniversary, Uddhav Thackeray gave a special interview to Sanjay Raut, the executive editor of 'Saamana'. In the interview, Uddhav Thackeray did not leave any stones unturned to attack the opposition in the state.

Reacting to it, Narayan Rane said that Uddhav lacks any qualities to become the CM, he doesn't listen to Secretaries. It's clearly seen where the state is headed whether it's the issue of farmers, agriculture, the economy, education, or the Corona pandemic. Not only Shiv Sena, but the other two parties of MVA – Congress and Nationalist Congress Party are also responsible for this.

“What did the Chief Minister do for the public interest and Hindutva during his tenure? What policies did he make in the favour of farmers?” asks Rane.

Accusing the ruling government of taking out a debt of INR 65,000 crores in the last six months and bankrupting the state, Narayan Rane said, “Despite having facilities and amenities, Maharashtra is at the top in terms of coronavirus patients. There is no work done in these eight-nine months towards controlling of the virus.”

He also stated that the Chief Minister has only done the job of threatening the opposition, ED and CBI through his interviews.

Predicting the departure of this Thackeray-led government soon, Narayan Rane concluded by saying that MVA is not conducive for Maharashtra.
