Since many days, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has been openly critical of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah, and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. After Modi’s interview with Asian News International (ANI) on January 1, Thackeray called it a “self-interview” and criticised Modi in his cartoon.

Reacting to this, Mumbai BJP President Ashish Shelar on Thursday lashed out at the MNS chief implying that those who are self-centred itself can’t understand Modi’s interview. Shelar tweeted that Modi keeps the nation at first, then his party, unlike Raj Thackeray.
