Amit Thackeray from MNS, former MLA Sada Saravankar from Shiv Sena Shinde Group, Mahesh Sawant from Shiv Sena Thackeray Group will contest from Mahim Assembly. As Amit Thackeray entered the fray, many leaders in the Mahayuti have expressed their support for Amit Thackeray. However, Sada Sarvankar has refused to withdraw from the election arena under any circumstances.

Sada Sarvankar said that he is going to file the nomination form on October 29 around 10 am. “I will file the nomination form and I believe that I will win. We work in this constituency 365 days. I have been elected three times as corporator, three times as MLA. Eknath Shinde and I met regularly”, he said. Sada Saravankar also informed that he has not received any call from Raj Thackeray. He also added that the opinion expressed by Ashish Shelar and Deepak Kesarkar is their personal opinion.
Amit Thackeray's decision to contest elections from Delhi - Sanjay Raut
Thackeray group leader Sanjay Raut has made a sensational claim about Amit Thackeray's candidature. “I have information that Amit Thackeray decided to contest elections from Delhi. Home Minister Amit Shah decides where the Shinde group should fight and where not to fight. So all the decisions are taken from Delhi. The party is Amit Shah's slave”, he said.
