Amid the ongoing Vedanta-Foxconn fiasco, the Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray took a jab at the newly-formed Maharashtra government-led by Eknath Shinde and his deputy Devendra Fadnavis for missing out on acquiring another project for the state.
Talking about the loss of the Bulk Drug Park, Aaditya Thackeray said that this project had been meritoriously pursued by the MVA government but it lost to three States -- Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh, by the current unconstitutional dispensation in the state, due to its lack of interest in development.
“While I believe that every State should get its fair share of investment, job opportunities and I don’t complain about the 3 States who have got it, I wonder why the current Maharashtra Dispensation could not actively pursue a project with Centre, where we are placed best suited,” Thackeray added.

He further mentioned that even as of today, where we clearly see a loss of 1 lakh job opportunities in Maharashtra with semi-conductor project going away, the governance arrangement is indulging in mudslinging and politics, but not giving a firm answer to the youth who lost out on job opportunities.
