Pawar added that the BJP government had assured Dhangar community of reservation but they did not keep their promise. He claimed that due to this, the protest turned ugly. He further said that the BJP government only gives false promises.

While criticising the ruling government, Pawar did not spare Revenue Minister Chandrakant Patil adding that he should win elections and peoples’ heart as he did by winning 14 elections. Meanwhile, he alleged that the state is hiding something related to Rafale deal from people.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has called an all-party meeting on Saturday to discuss reservation demanded by the Marathas in jobs and educational institutes.
