Ahead of the announced Lok Sabha and upcoming Maharashtra assembly polls, the leaders have started to shift their loyalties in the state. Earlier on Tuesday, the son of Congress and Opposition leader Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Sujay Vikhe Patil joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). 

After this, Congress MLA Kalidas Kolambkar informed about his decision to join the BJP. Kolambkar is currently an MLA from Wadala assembly constituency. In the political circle, there were strong speculations regarding the Congress MLA shifting his loyalties after Kolambkar installed Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at his office. 

While talking to Mumbai Live, Kalidas Kolambkar informed that there is no harm in endorsing someone who does good work. Meanwhile, expressing discontent, Kolambkar said that even the Congress leaders know everything is not well in the party.

I have worked 10 years for the Congress but the party didn’t reciprocate the same in my area. However, after CM Fadnavis came to power, he fulfilled the pending work in my area,” Congress MLA Kalidas Kolambkar.
