Wrestlers have been protesting against the President of Kustigir Association and BJP MP Brijbhushan Sharan Singh for the last two months. During the inauguration of the new parliament on May 28, these wrestler protestors who were going towards the parliament were arrested by the police. After this they had announced to immerse the medals earned by hard work in the Ganga. All three Bajrang Punia, Vinesh Phogat and Sakshi Malik tweeted on social media and presented their position on this. Dignitaries from various fields have reacted to this movement. However, Sachin Tendulkar, who is referred as the God of Cricket, has not yet taken notice of this issue.

Since Sachin did not speak on this pressing issue, some banners questioning him have been put up in front of Sachin Tendulkar's house. “Why are you not saying anything, Sachin Tendulkar?” such a banner has been put up by the Mumbai Youth Congress. The board also states, “Are you afraid of a CBI raid?”.

Banners in the name of Mumbai Youth Congress spokesperson Ranjita Gore read, "Voteless Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkarji, why are you silent in India's internal affairs?"

Recently, Sachin Tendulkar has been appointed as Maharashtra's 'Smile Ambassador' for the state's Swachh Mukh campaign. The national spokesperson of the Nationalist Congress Party, Clyde Crasto, has challenged Sachin over this. “Our wrestlers are demanding justice but BJP is turning a blind eye to wrestlers' agitation to save their MP. As you are our pride, women wrestlers of our country are also our pride. As a sportsman, it is your duty to support your brothers. We hope you will speak up and be a 'Smile Ambassador' for our wrestlers." Krasto had tweeted saying this.
